MOMMY: Liam got blood today 🙁 I was so hoping he wouldn’t need anymore. Today has been a hard one for me. The waiting and wondering is not easy. I hope only good results come from the bone marrow biopsy and I can start to feel some sense of comfort. I’ve came to except this is not going to get easier on my heart but instead, I will continue to get stronger with this journey…

During her career she trained more than 90 specialists in her field and authored over 300 scientific publications. She also chaired multiple cooperative research group studies and served as advisor for many medical and scientific organizations including the Children's Oncology Group, the National Childhood Cancer Foundation, the American Academy of Pediatrics and National Institutes of Health.
