ANC 1651 (yesterday’s ANC 2176) (1500-5400 normal)
WBC 2.6 (yesterday’s WBC 3.9) (6.0-17.5 normal)
Platelets 111 (yesterday’s Platelet 89) (250-600 normal)
Hematocrit 29.6 (yesterday’s Hematocrit 29.4) (33.0-39.0 normal)
The Doctor is very pleased with Liam’s progress. He was glad to see that Liam’s platelet count came up on it’s own, he said that is great. Liam will start the transition of preparing to leave the hospital. He will have a 4 hour daily pass, returning back to the hospital. He did vomit this morning. They started him on the steroids to help with the GVHD. He has a small dectectable amount in his tummy.

Kristy’s Twitter Update – Day+30 ANC 1651 WBC 2.6 platelet 111. Liam threw up this morning not sure why. The Dr said we should b out of here next week 🙂
Tim Cahill- I don’t comment on this site very often, but I read it every day and every day I am amazed at the strength and commitment of Liams immediate and extended family. I’m not an emotional kind of person, but as I read the posts and comments they… almost never fail to make my eyes water, either from feeling the pains little Liam and his family are going through or the happiness in his improvements. You guys are awesome and such an inspiration to everyone. Keep it up Smith Family everyone is with you! I hope some day to have the honor and pleasure of meeting Liam and his family. You are in my prayers every day.
